With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Kewn (Mooresville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John William has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin Kewn and Margaret Lowe Kewn; his sister Heather Kewn Cottell; and his nephew Eric Cottell. He is survived by: his wife Karen Rozak Kewn; his sister Margaret Kewn Monaghan (Sean); and his siblings-in-law, Lauren Monaghan Lahey (John), Sean Monaghan (Chelsea) and Bailey Rozak Bonilla (Gio).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1098 Brawley School Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117.
John's legacy is also marked by his heartfelt contributions to charitable foundations including two that were particularly special to him Tunnels to Towers Foundation and Bullies2theRescue. Donations may be made in his honor to either of those charities.
