We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2026, at the age of 77, Judy Owens Benfield of Mooresville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Judy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Owens and Irene Godfrey Owens; her sister-in-law Diane Coley; and her mother-in-law Lorene Brown. She is survived by: her husband Randy Benfield; her children, James Benfield (Ellen) and Brooke Eaton (Paul); her sisters, Janice Owens and Barbara Muller; her brother-in-law Bill Coley; and her granddaughter Emily Eaton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
