He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Taft and Mary Penley Thomas; and his siblings, Bud, Guy, Eddie, Eula and Betty Sue.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Yuhas (Phil) of New Jersey, Paul T. Thomas (Linda) of Charlotte and Bryan Thomas (Nicky) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Bryan Thomas, Jr., Kendall Barr, Caitlyn Thomas, Jonathan Thomas and Michael Yuhas; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Jaxson and Julianna.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Home of Mr (294 Marietta Rd, Mooresville, NC 28115).
