It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Edward McIlrath of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Victoria McIlrath; his son Cameron McIlrath; his mother Hazel McIlrath; his siblings, Joseph McIlrath Jr. (Barbara McIlrath) of Ellington, CT, Theresa Harper (Wally Harper) of Branford, CT and Colleen Carella of Newtown, CT; and his parents-in-law, Michael and Pauline Pope of Mooresville. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Brain Tumor Network, an organization that helps to support, educate and council patients and families fighting primary brain cancer.
