He is survived by : his wife Pamela Jean Kemmerlin Sowell of Augusta, Georgia.; his son Brett Paul Sowell; his daughter-in-law Chistine Olsen Sowell; his daughter Allison Sowell Hughes; his son-in-law Kevin Hughes; and his siblings, Michael Sowell and Bonnie Sowell.
