It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Locey of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William and Teresa; and his sister Pamela Nelson. He is survived by : his wife Karen; his caregiver Karen Straight Locey; his sons, Jason (Natalia) and Tyler (Leah); and his grandchildren, Camila, Cristina and Mika.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County whose compassionate care brought solace to Pete during his final years, and/or to The Alzheimer's Association to support research for a cure to this terrible disease.
