He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Freund, Amy Abernathy (Jack) and Johanna Newman (Kevin Reeves); his grandchildren, Christopher (Carson), Stephanie Phillips, Ben, Justin and Mary Newman; and his great grandchild Arthur Phillips.
