He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Cashion; his parents, John Cashion and Mary Catherine "Kitty" Cashion; and his son-in-law Phil Alexander. He is survived by: his daughter Nina Alexander; his grandchildren, Shea Alexander and Blair Knox (Tommy); and his great grandchildren, Maddox Alexander and Hallie Knox.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Coddle Creek Arp Church (2297 Coddle Creek Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28115).
