With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Goodrum of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gibbs Melchor and Bernice Mundell Melchor; and her son Zackery Thomas Goodrum. She is survived by: her husband Freddie L. Goodrum; her son Casey Gibbs Goodrum; her sister Evelyn Weatherman (Charlie); her nephews, Andy Weatherman and Brian Weatherman; her brother-in-law Tom Goodrum (Carol); and her sibling's children, Michael Goodrum and Leslie Baldwin.
