He was predeceased by: his son Wallie; and his granddaughter Brooke. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his sons, Craig (Patty) of St. Augstine, FL and Howard (Sherri) of Troutman; and his grandsons, Walter, Bradley, Jonathan, Jeremy, Josh, Todd, Keiffer and Gabriel.

A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (221 Ervin Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117).

Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
