He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mullis and Shirley Ferrell Mullis; his sister Cathy Mullis; his nephew Billy Deaton; and his sister-in-law Luella Ketner.
He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Mullis; his son William "Bobby" Robert Mullis, Jr.; his brothers, Jerry Mullis and David Mullis (Brenda); his niece Katrina McCoy; and his nephews, Greg Parris and Jake Deaton.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115).
