She was predeceased by: her parents, Acie Miller and Nola Spears Miller; her former husband Thomas "Edwin" Minton; her daughter Lora Ann Minton; and her siblings, Gaynelle Carroll, Chessie Call, Jessie Minton, Bryant Miller and Estel Miller.

She is survived by: her husband David "Warner" Minton; her children, Penny Holleman (Dennis) of Moravian Falls, Tom Minton (Lori) of Ferguson and Blake Minton (Monica) of Moravian Falls; her grandchildren, Leanna Barker (David), Thomas Minton (Morgan) and Marina Shumate Katlynn Holleman (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Hunter Barker, Paisley Barker, Ireland Holleman, Jackson Minton, London Minton, Reed Shumate and Cali Shumate; and her sister Geraldine Hamby (Steve) of Statesville.
