With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Griffin of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Griffin and Candace Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Selma Anderson Griffin; his children, Melissa Chivers (David) of Yadkinville, Tammy Griffin-Garcia (Manuel) of Moravian Falls, William Griffin (Connie) of Ronda and Darrell Griffin (Janice) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Ramona Bentley, Dustin Atchley, Joshua Holder, Joshua Griffin, Nathaniel Griffin, Alicia Harless, Fisher Griffin and Charlie Griffin; his great grandchildren, Shiloh Harless, Gabe Griffin, Ember Holder, Canaan Holder and Locklan Atchley; and his siblings, Elva Winebarger of Wilkesboro and Wayne Griffin (Brenda) of Wilkesboro.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (330 Speedway Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (260 NC-16, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
