He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cannon and Loise Campbell Cannon; his wife Shirley Grace Lowe Cannon; and his brothers, Dennis Cannon and Jerry Cannon.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Cannon Jones (Rick) of Moravian Falls; his siblings, Jeanette Duffey of Valdese, Ted Cannon of Hickory, Jimmy Cannon of Rhodhiss and Carroll Cannon (Jean) of Lenoir; and his grandson Shane Gene Cannon of Moravian Falls. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to flowers memorials may be given to Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 6165 NC Highway 16 S Moravian Falls, North Carolina 28654.
