He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Vernon Rogers and Lucinda Cain Rogers; his former wife Cindy Rogers; his siblings, Charlotte Brookshire and David Rogers; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Bullis and Wayne Edmisten.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsay Rogers (Jonathan Jackson) of Hickory and Nathaniel Rogers (Liz Greene) of Hillsborough; his siblings, Joyce Bullis of Moravian Falls, Mildred Edmisten of Moravian Falls and Clyde Rogers of Moravian Falls; and his grandchildren, Clara Jackson, Olivia Rogers and Eli Rogers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
