He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nelson and Irene Casstevens Sizemore. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sizemore; his children, Christie Renegar (Scotty) of Yadkinville, Carrie Hall (Robbie) of Ennice and Scott Sizemore (Heather) of Midland, NC; and his grandchildren, Logan Saunders, Alexis Prevette, Christian Winkler, Barett Sizemore, Kolton Sizemore, Daniel Renegar, Tim Renegar, Harlie Hall and Garrett Hall. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
