He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mattie Cornett, Peggy Lowe, Edgar Tilley, Jerry Tilley and Jimmy Tilley.
He is survived by: his son Jamie Paige Tilley of Dobson; and his siblings, Betty Layell of Elkin, Kenneth Tilley (Lucille) of Millers Creek and Houston Tilley (Nancy) of Trinity.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the White Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery (9981 Haystack Rd, Thurmond, NC 28683).
