He is survived by: his wife Nancy Velthoven; his children, Linda Staab (Bobby) of Morehead City and Mark Velthoven (Beth) of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Joshua Staab (Laura) of Raleigh, Beaufort, Jacqueline Staab of Morehead City, Kiersten Staab of Morehead City, Caroline Velthoven Ward (Ryan) of Stella, Hannah Velthoven of Newport and Darden Velthoven of Hampstead; his great grandchildren, Lottie Staab and Luke Staab; his sister-in-law Marilyn Stafford (Errol) of Stuart, Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Fourman of Stuart, Florida. and Ayden Painter of Stuart, Florida..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Gethsemane Memorial Park (700 NC-24, Newport, NC 28570).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
