She is survived by: her siblings, Mildred, Hazel, Tom, Bill, JC and Cherry Point; her children, LaMonte "Monty" Mitchell (Kathi) of Morehead City, Colleen Higgins (Miles) of Wilmington, Graham Mitchell (Lisa) of Temples Point and Laura Norris (George) of Adams Creek; her son-in-law Page Reynolds of Ringgold, VA; her grandchildren, Nikolas Mitchell (Michelle) of Oxford, Erin Harkley (Corey) of Havelock, Corbitt Norris (Danielle) of Beaufort, Amy Allred (Ryan) of Temples Point, Berri Willis (Michael) of Morehead City, Nevin Norris (Holly) of Adams Creek, Spencer Higgins of Wilmington, Katie Reynolds Mitchell (David) of Chatham, VA and Eliza Higgins of Durham; and her great grandchildren, Brennan Harkley, Tyler Mitchell, Noah Harmon, Emmy Mitchell, Jonah Harmon, Hunter Fulcher, Graham Norris, Wyatt Allred, Rubi Willis, Kaison Willis, Lydia Norris, Elliott Allred, Sabina Norris, Timothy Mitchell, Jude Mitchell and Kash Willis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Noe-Brooks Chapel (201 Professional Cir, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at the Gethsemane Memorial Park.
