He is survived by: his daughter Lila Henley Simpson of Beaufort, SC; his brother Paul Ervin Simpson (Beverly Hopkins Simpson) of Raleigh, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Jason P. Simpson, Lindsay M. Simpson, Seth, Shae and Beau Simpson.
