He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ernest "Ernie" Boyd (Angela) of Morehead City, NC and Kimberly Boyd Davis (Stacy) of Morehead City, NC; his brother Lonnie Boyd (Carolyn) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Jason Martin Boyd, Kristen Boyd (Kody McGlamery), Gaston Davis (Anna), Patricia Hunnings (Josh Fulcher), Stacy Davis III (Rebecca) and Hilary Davis; and his great grandchildren, Greyden, Addisyn, Cohen, Gabriel, Dane, Camden and Lyla.
