He is survived by: his wife Margaret Olivia Estes Peele; his brothers, Edward Peele of Jacksonville, NC and Donald Peele (Cathy) of Hillsborough, NC; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Peele of Jacksonville, NC and Betty Vance Estes Arnold of Franklinton, NC; his son Richard; and his daughter-in-law Deirdre Arnold of Chapel Hill, NC. He is also survived by six nieces.
