He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Marshall and Rachel Edwards; his wife Martha Ann Sleight Marshall; his sister Sara Ann; and his pet Sheba.
He is survived by: his children, Alexia Dawn Way of Morehead City, NC, Terry Way (Donna) of Kinston, NC, Thomas Way (Elizabeth) of Asheville, NC and Jeffrey Marshall of Morehead City, NC; his sister Jean Jessup of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Alex Way, Travis Marshall, Shawn Marshall, Taylor Way, Katie Way, Shelby Way and Jessica Brown; his great grandchild Bonnie Marshall; his cousin Cecil Rumley; and his pet Frankie.
Larry was proud to donate to St. Judes Children Hospital and the Wounded Warriors Project.
