It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel McQueen of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon "Casey" McQueen Jr.; her son Gordon "CJ" McQueen III; and her granddaughter Rachel Gail McBroom. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn McBroom of Morehead City, Patience Kuhn (Charles) of Princeton and Patty Vass (Eddie) of Ronceverte, WV. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
