Godette of Morehead City, LovelyAnn Henry of Morehead City, Nassa McNair (Earl) of Cameron, Peter'Buddy'Reels of Raleigh and Donovan Reels of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Tei'ya Smith, Morgan McLean, Skylar McLean, Carson McLean, Chloe McDougald, Joshua Smith and Mi'Kaiden McMillian; his great grandchild Cortazz'Bam'Jackson, Jr.; his brothers, George'Winfield'Tootle, Sr. (Gloria) of Bogue, Edward L. Jones, Sr. (Esther), Matthew N. Jones and Luther Jones; his uncle Jimmy Tootle of Bogue; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy James, Maxine Sutton, Anna Montford Jones, Gerald Bell (Gwen), Victor Sutton, Calvin Sutton, Brent Sutton and Dean Sutton (Shanovia).
A wake was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint Mark A. M. E. Zion Church (5106 Hwy 70 W, Morehead City, NC 28557). Viewing was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at the Mansfield Community Cemetery (5160 Business Dr, Morehead City, NC 28557).
