William Evans Chamblee Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of William Evans Chamblee of Morehead City, North Carolina is shared. William, born on May 13, 1945, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Chamblee and Willie Evans Chamblee. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hunter Overcash Chamblee; his sons, William "Bill" Evans Chamblee Jr. and James Michael Chamblee; his stepdaughters, Dawn Rolston and Denise Dailey; and his siblings, John, Van Chamblee and Helen Chamblee Goodman.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crystal Coast Worship Center (203 College Cir, Morehead City, NC 28557).
