In loving memory of Alice W. Ellis of Morganton, North Carolina, who departed this world on August 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Alice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis H. Wendover, and Nettie Wendover, Sr. (Hertzfeld); her husband Iving C. Ellis, Sr.; her siblings, Lewis Wendover, Jr., Robert Wendover, Dorothy Wendver and Beatrice VanNostrand; her stepgrandson Robert Visconti Boice; and her grandson-in-law Jason Moore.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Jean Tompkins; and her stepchildren, Irving Ellis, Jr. (Deborah), Glenn Ellis (Audra), Diane Olson (Gregory) and June Boice (James). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
