He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Sotelo and Delores Albillar Sotelo; and his siblings, Dan Sotelo, James Sotelo and Irene Sotelo.
He is survived by: his wife Ozelle Greene Sotelo; his daughters, Tamara Roland (Gary) of Brooks, GA, Gina Leonard (Greg) of Morganton, NC and Heidi Austin (Chuck) of Morganton, NC; his grandchildren, Scarlet Collins (Troy), Lauren Panter (Josiah), Ethan Roland, Amanda Brawley (Derrick), Lacy Leonard, Lilly Austin and Aaron Austin; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Brawley, Ava Brawley and Evelyn Collins; and his siblings, Fred Sotelo of Merced, CA, Elsie Phister of Berkley, CA and Marlene Schoneman of Brawley, CA..
