He is survived by: his children, Daniel Ballard of Morganton and Sarah Ballard (Josh Martinez) of Morganton; his grandchildren, Eli Ballard, Charlie Ballard and Luke Wiseman; his girlfriend Crystal Skeens; and his close friends, Lisa Bryant, Patricia Smith and Jennifer McMahan. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
