We are sad to announce that, on March 15, 2026, at the age of 96, Christine C. Benedict of Morganton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Christine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Christine. Though Christine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover "Tot" Crabtree and Lillie M. Crabtree; and her husband Bob Benedict. She is survived by: her son Brian Benedict (Kathy) of Old Fort; her grandsons, Kyle D. Benedict (Amanda) of Charlotte and Robert D. Benedict (Cathy) of Delaware; and her great grandchildren, Mason Benedict and Miles Benedict. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
