She is survived by: her husband James Hodge; her children, Donald Adams (Jatana) of Lenoir, Richard Adams of Lenoir, Jamey Adams of Lenoir, Julia Whisnant of Lenoir and Amanda Adams of Lenoir; and her siblings, Gene Cresson of Lenoir and Wanda Holder of Lenoir. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (2984 Playmore Beach Rd, Morganton, NC 28655). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
