He was predeceased by : his father Gordon Abee; his siblings, Herman, Harold, J. P. Abee and Juanita Herman; and his grandson Michael Costner.

He is survived by : his wife Jean Greene Abee; his daughters, Kathy Costner (Carl) and Connie Cook; his grandsons, Chad Costner (Jatanna) and Nicholas Lackey; his granddaughter-in-law Cheri Costner; his great grandchildren, Kristen Evan and Logan Costner; and his great great grandchild Ilithya Costner.

In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory of Cliff, may be made to Amorem (Burke Hospice) or Denton's Chapel United Methodist Church.
