He was predeceased by : his father Joe Bart Epps. He is survived by : his wife Diana Gentry Epps; his children, C. J. Epps, Sarah Willix, Sabrina Thurman, John Epps, Bradley Triplett and Tyler Triplett (Megan); his grandchildren, Ransom, Aubrey Willix and Blakely Triplett; his sister Donna Epps (David Pace); and his stepfather Buck Lail.
