He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Johnson Glass; his parents, Paul Joseph Glass Sr. and Eugenia Mae Johnson Glass (Johnson); his stepmother Daisy Glass; his siblings, Paul Joseph Glass Jr. and Peggy Glass Connelly Thompson; his son Leroy Glass Jr.; his adoptive son Carlton Lamaar Edmondson; and his grandson Jarae Millsaps.

He is survived by: his brother John Henry Glass (Savannah) of Granite Falls, NC; his children, Constance Adoree Millsaps (James) of Lenoir, NC, Virgena "Kitty" Glass of Concord, NC, Lee Anthony Glass (Guerdie) of Galena, OH, Joseph Lee Glass (Catherine) of Denver, NC, Melea Dawn Glass of Hickory, NC and Aquil Glass (Anna) of Morganton, NC; his grandchildren, Jamila Millsaps, Mitchell "Icka" Millsaps, Jasmine Wilson (Avery) of Anthony, Leila Glass, Leena Glass, Jaelyn Glass (Dontavist), Jayda Glass and Jordin Glass; his great grandchildren, Javien Millsaps, Zion Millsaps, Isaiah Millsaps, Brentlan Millsaps, Jordan Phillips, Haley Mitchell, Isaac Barker, Addison Millsaps, James Jarae Millsaps and Jordan Debro; his goddaughter Lisa Johnson Lawrence; Annie Lee Phillips.
