With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lola May Chalker Gantt (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Chalker and Anna Marie W. Schmidt Chalker; her husband JC Gantt; and her siblings, Hattie Lucker, Marie Schlessner, Marguerite Unrein and Gilbert Chalker.

She is survived by : her children, Gerry Gantt (Wee Boonmak), Charles Gantt (Vicki Salveson), Jeff Gantt (Mary), Kathy Leonhardt (Derr), Kathleen Curtis (Dionne) and Kevin Gantt (Nora). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
