He is survived by: his wife Lisa Deyton; his children, Brandon Deyton of Morganton, Bradley Deyton (Sherry) of Morganton and Sarah Auton (Raven) of Valdese; his stepchildren, Jessica Woody of Morganton, Tommy Pressley, Jr. of Morganton and Sherry Deyton (Bradley) of Morganton; and his siblings, Harold Deyton (Becky), Robert Deyton (Janet) of Hickory, David Chance Deyton and Gay Deyton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
