It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Dale Gentry of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Harold Dean Gentry; his wife Sara Gentry; and his children, Wayne Dale Gentry Jr. and Michelle Everhardt. He is survived by : his daughter Brenda Baynham; his siblings, Carolyn Gentry, Mark Gentry and Willard Gentry; and his niece Kendra Gentry. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Burke County Friends for Animals at 417 Kirksey Dr. Morganton, NC 28655.
