He was predeceased by: his parents, Lao Va Yang and Pa Vang. He is survived by: his wife Mao Thao Yang; his children, May, Kou, Maria, Susan, Sherry, Christine and James; and his grandchildren, Kai, Connor, Tenchi, Kirin, Sasuke, Jules, Emmanuel, Cyrus and Elijah.
