He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Roosevelt Bennett and Mary Lessie Little Bennett; his brother-in-law Charles Savage; his grandparents, Cassie Bell Little, Louise and Judge Benett; and his nephews, Timothy Bennett and Courtney Bennett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie Bennett (Evelyn) of Wadesboro, NC, Jacqueline Savage of Morven, NC and Janelle Capel of Richmond, VA; his aunts, Mozell Bennett of Lilesville, NC and Diane Melton of Morven, NC; his close friend Cynthia Belton of Wadesboro, NC; and his cousin Sharon Merriman (Timothy) of High Point, NC. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews; and a host of great-nieces and great- nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
