He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy McClinton, Sr. and Pearline Salmond McClinton; his son Keyon McClinton; his brothers, Leroy McClinton, Jr. and Charles McClinton; and his brother-in-law Paul Glover.
He is survived by: his wife Kita McClinton; his children, Travon McClinton (Brettah) of Cheraw, SC and Jaquaja McClinton of Central, SC; his grandchildren, Jaliyah McClinton of Cheraw, SC, Kimora McClinton of Cheraw, SC, TriZyah McClinton of Cheraw, SC, Trabriyon McClinton of Cheraw, SC and Abriyon McClinton of Cheraw, SC; his siblings, Janice Glover of Camden, SC, Earline Sutton (Lou) of Camden, SC, Jacqueline Favor (Jerry Sr.) of Camden, SC, Vicki McClinton of Camden, SC, Chris McClinton (Tiffany) of Columbia, SC and Stoney McClinton (Latoya) of Columbia, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Monica McClinton and Donnya Scott.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Harris Chapel AME Zion Church (401 E Main St, Morven, NC 28119).
