In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Annie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Annie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Drew Franklin and Mary Maude Davenport Hodge; her husband Roger Franklin Thomas; and her grandson David Lee Thomas. She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Kim Thomas; and her great grandchild Carter Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation known as Breakthrough T1D, Formerly JDRF, PO Box 5021 Hagerstown MD 21741-5021 in memory of her grandson, David Lee Thomas.
