She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marshall "Jack" Greene and Ramie Lorraine Greene; and her stepfather Homer Athas. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Wills; her daughter Amy Williams; her grandchildren, Christopher Aaron Lewis and Allison Grace Lewis; and her sisters, Robin Greene Blackwell and Jackie Greene Davis. She is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Betsy requested that donations in her memory be made to the Mount Airy Fire and Rescue.
