She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard David Johnson and Etta Wall Johnson; her husband Hylton Wright; her siblings, Otis Johnson (Lillian), Robert Johnson, Viola Alberty (Warren) and Lillian Sprinkle (Woodrow); and her foster sister Ethleen Bowman (Willis).
She is survived by: her daughter Tamra Wright Thomas; her son-in-law Ronald Thomas of Winston-Salem; her nephew Fredrick Johnson (Gale) of King; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Wright (Rayburn) of Mount Airy. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
