She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Lee Shinault and Ima Lee Cox Morris; her sister Gail Hutchens; and her former husband Tim McHone. She is survived by: her daughter Kasey McHone (Jimmy Galyean); her siblings, Norma Cockerham, Marie Morris (Terry Fisher), Susie (Lavin Puckett), Cathy (Phillip Snow), Donna Shinault, David Morris, Billy (Ressie Morris), Bobby (Gail Morris) and Ricky (Angie Shinault); her close friends, Yvonne Edwards, Jess, Michael, Debbie Overby, Debbie Draughon Dickerson and Paula Albert; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
