It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Calvin Douglas Gordon of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Gordon and Betty Adaline Via Gordon; and his stepson Donald Lee Lovill, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Helen Magdalene Easter Gordon; his children, Jenifer Gordon, Michael Gordon and Lisa Blum; his stepson-in-law Donette Sykes; his grandchildren, Brad Roberson (Morgan), Dustin Roberson (Megan), Dylan Lovill, Phoenix Ballentine and Michael David Gordon, II; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aubry Roberson and Zoey Roberson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery (1142 Pine Ridge Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
