He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephus "Joe" Lilly and Pemel Hutchins Lilly; and his siblings, Shelby Dolleen Bennett of Shady Spring, Wilma Jean Heishman (Spencer) of Timberville and Barry Lilly (Mary) of Cool Ridge.
He is survived by: his wife Gearlene Lilly (Carr); his daughters, Tabitha Hernandez (Al) of Mount Airy and BeLinda Stillwagon (late Michael Stillwagon Sr.) of Lowgap; his grandchildren, Michael (Amy), Jeremy, Michael Jr. (Jill), Sean, Brenden and Adrianna (Kel); his great grandchildren, Colton Stillwagon and Amara Imburgia; and his siblings, Dremma Smith (Jackie), Lloyd Keith (Barbara) of Cool Ridge and Jeff Lilly of Cool Ridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Service (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
