She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Foyster Edwards and Ethel Jones Edwards; her grandson Tommy Williams; her great grandchildren, Alexander Luke Flippen and Ezra Andrew Flippen; and her siblings, Sarah Irene Edwards Cockerham, Alvin "Al" Foster Edwards and Austin Lee Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughter Pat; her son-in-law Don Williams; her sons, Phillip Flippen (Lisa McQueen) and Barry (Tammy Flippen); and her sister Nina Edwards Livengood. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson.
