He was predeceased by: his parents, Bo M. Duncan and Betty Sue Hursey Duncan; his wife Janice Sasser Duncan; his son Steven Duncan; and his siblings, Judy Duncan and Richard Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Lynn Duncan of Mt. Airy; his partner Jackie Manuel of Hillsville, Virginia; and his aunt Barbara. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
