She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Shasta Bode-Brown of Mount Airy; and her brothers, William Bradley, Sr. (Eleanor Brown) and Ontario. She is survived by: her husband Dean W. Brown of Ridgecrest Lane; her children, Mark T. Brown (Jennifer) of Mount Airy and Molly Elizabeth Brown of Pfafftown; her grandchildren, Kate Brown-Surber (Clay) of Richmond, VA, John-Henry "Sam" Brown of Raleigh and Dominick Griffin of Pfafftown; her brother Philip T. Bradley of Greenville, SC; her sister-in-law Jeanette Chappell of Mount Airy; her sibling's children, Davis Bradley of Buffalo, NY, Stephanie McDuffie (David) of Mount Airy and Julie Marion (Stan) of Mount Airy; and her pet Eddie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
