He was predeceased by: his parents, Flynn Allen Sr. and Emily Southern Allen; his wife Betty Allen; his great grandchild Robert Coburn; his sisters, Elaine Edwards, Fannie Mae Hiatt, Virginia Mae Chamberlin and Emma Allen; and his sister-in-law Ellen Southern.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Minor; his son-in-law Timothy; his son Steve Allen (Tina Sawyers Shelton); his grandchildren, Stephanie Allen (Richard Coburn), Sarah Sawyers, Tyler Minor, Ashlee and Mae Lynn Minor; his great grandchildren, Danielle Coburn, Elizabeth Coburn, Madelyn Coburn, Annabelle Coburn and Silas Minor; his siblings, Wanda Boyles (Don), Southern and Billy Gray Allen (Wanda); and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Pell, Hurley and Howard "Pokie" Chamberlin.
